METAVERSE INDIAN FASHION - ARE WE READY OR ARE WE READY?
What can I say! Bling is my thing! says the entire aesthetic of Papa Don't Preach. But what I have to share is something every Millennial and GenZ will connect to! India finally had it's first Metaverse fashion collection show!
The last two years were extremely chaotic, a time where flying cars were predicted couldn't even fly planes! But as we all know, there's this ray of sunshine after a heavy thunderstorm rain. Cryptocurrency, NFTs and the Brahmastra of the digital universe, the Metaverse!
And since Mark Zuckerberg announced Facebook’s rebranding as Meta Company in November 2021, the word metaverse created ample curiosity. Everybody immediately hopped on Google to search for the word and understand its meaning. Going by the internet’s definition, the Metaverse is a 3D virtual space aimed at blurring the line between augmented and virtual reality.
ARE YOU READY? TO WITNESS INDIA'S FIRST EVER METAVERSE FASHION!

In the world of Meta, the designers create unique designs and environments, not by the actual physical process but a technical process. Papa Don't Preach exhibited its designs, the Avatar models walked on the digital stage which was majestic pink water instead of a real life runway! Isn't it cool? To create the world of your imagination without doing all the labor.

Although nothing can beat the pulchritudinousness of handmade and naturals but Changing times have changed the times!
How can you be a part of it?
Anyone can attend these fashion shows by creating their own Avatars and connect as personifications of real people. Fashion brands like Adidas and H&M have launched their collections in Metaverse stores. So now you and your Avatar can wear the same designs! These stores are high-tech and three-dimensional, offering a near-to-real shopping experience. In fact, your Avatar can even try on the products before buying with just a single click!
Well, the road ahead is not clear but the vision is! With Papa Don't Preach hitting the ball out of the park it has now created an arena for other Indian designers, creators and specially for the local craftsmen to reach the impossible.
And like everything we Indians love to put our very own desi touch of Indo-western! I can't wait to see what it stores for us and what we have stored for Metaverse! I hope it is bigger than hopes set by Brahmastra, ardently!
